So beautiful dear Kira.
"Your muffled words rocked me ever slowly
as if I laid on puffy lazy clouds
and when the sun had peeked to quickly bathe me
the velvet of your voice became my shroud."
The above lines, I loved. To be able to get lost and enjoy the sound of a kind voice. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

Very well, wonderfully written. Many of your romantic poems have the element of longing, love and a way of expressing to not lose it. It's very true, love is precious, beautiful and nothing like having it always by your side. This poem read so much like a song, one could hum it, play tunes to it and sing along. Thank you Kira, for sharing this poetic piece.

In the seventh line I think you meant "bathe"--

We are called, but it is up to us to listen...and to move towards that light.

dear Kira... reminds me of the Song, "Rock a baby, Rock of Ages".
I think along these lines every day, and realize that we can never take
love for granted, as we never know when we can only Imagine.. when
the time arrives. I love the phrase-- Kingdom come. truly, Pat

I'm tuned into voices & speaking inflections . . . when a person has an interesting voice or lively speaking inflections, I become mesmerized listening & watching. Lots of times I'm paying more attention to the way the whole scene is spilling out rather than following the conversation. Your poem makes me feel like the delivery is so distracting to this narrator, she's going a little bonkers in an addictive way . . . more! . . . more! I had a best friend like that (RIP 5 years) . . . I would chuckle in delight as soon as I heard his voice!
