We drove down an old coast road
and rolled all the way
to the beach.
The hills in all directions glowed
iridescent green
and the air was weightless —
crystalline pristine.

Oh Kira you use such fabulous descriptions in this, thank you for sharing! Have a wonderful day ahead Kira Fulks
Sur la route dilatée par le soleil frappant, planent les embruns du jardin de nature.
Le reflet du ciel éclate sur l’océan de cristal et ouvre le chemin du miroir aquatique.
On the road dilated by the striking sun, hang the spray of the garden of nature.
The reflection of the sky bursts on the crystal ocean and opens the way to the aquatic mirror.
Merci beaucoup Kira Fulks pour votre délicate intention…

I remember that road dear beautiful poetess. As a child I traveled its winding road and delighted👸 with the beach and roaring waves. I was only eight and I wanted to live there. Build a castle and rule my honored kingdom. Beautiful dear friend.
the air was weightless … with not a care in the world … a refreshing verse.
Lovely scene brought alive by words!
