We celebrated the first candle lighting in Temecula with our Chabad community.A joyous gathering of Jews and non-Jews, full of light and song, even as our hearts remain heavy with the news from Sydney.
Judaism teaches: מְעַט מִן הָאוֹר דּוֹחֶה הַרְבֵּה מִן הַחֹשֶׁךְ
A little light pushes away much darkness.
This is our response.
We do not cower.
We gather. We celebrate. We shine.
