There is a King in England
not of princely ancestry
a common man whose mind
is a royal treasury.
The Court with all its splendor
would be green with envy eyes
to know his treasures sparkle
like rainbows in the sky.
They shine in the horizon
from deep and far beyond
and bring the day alive
with dazzling verse and song.
Jewels yachts and castles
are golden calves and shrines
none measure to the psalms
that make him King of mine.
