Wasting away
in a world of despair
spinning my wheels
fast-forward to nowhere.
Trapped in a world
diseased and chaotic
finding no ease
no reason nor logic.
Lost and dismayed
in a world without purpose
masked in veils of anger and prey
going nowhere moving ahead
midst chaos and turmoil
I stop and I pray.
