It’s a rainy Monday in California, remnants of Hurricane Marie.
Rain just before Rosh Hashanah always feels like a blessing. “Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase.” –Leviticus 26:4
And rain on Labor Day reminds me of an old Israeli song:
העבודה היא חיינו, רק לא בשבילנו.
Work is our life, just not for us. 😄
Rain, rest, and a new year just around the corner. As for me, I’ll be California dreamin’ in my PJs, honoring Labor Day. 🌧️🍎🍯
