In the sky there was an eagle
flying high above the ground
and his shadow traveled westward
racing fast without a sound.

And the seagull over water
hovered silent in his track
as he watched his own reflection
sailing with him back to back.

Black old crows raved up their solo
and an owl sat and cooed
at the tip of one tall cypress
that rocked him gently as it could.

Humming birds brightly colored
quivered fast among the leaves
and the robins came to shelter
their baby young below the eaves.

In the sky there were so many
flying creatures of all kind
soaking up the evening sunshine
slowing down as they unwind.

And I stood there oh, so happy
wondering how it all began
when I felt YOU deep inside me
and knew that life will never end.
