chill is in the air
thunderclap
lighting bolt
seagulls swerve
with sudden jolt—
palm trees sway
in gusty breeze
rain on rooftop
dance with ease —
and here I sit
in my cocoon
wish you’d hear

on this stormy night
with me
warm and cozy
just us–we.
