In shadows deep
where sorrows lie
mothers weep
dry tearless eyes
a silent song
a lullaby
in restless sleep
a weary sigh
of memories
still yet to come
of fallen leaves
and setting sun
a prayer is sent
each day
each night
a dream
a wish
for joy and light
for precious peace
eternal sky
to live
to laugh
to never cry.
