We had a full house at The OC Recording Company this week, recording a special new song “Color Blind” with our eclectic group of musician friends, each adding unique color and personal meaning to the production. I am so proud to be part of this vibrant group of talented artists. We come from all walks of life and go back many years — what keeps us together is love and respect.
We strum the strings and beat the drums
in harmony we sing and hum
our hearts unite and voices soar
we make music, we don’t make war.
In every pulse a common ground
our every note a peaceful sound
with every chord we heal the scars
our prayers for peace reach to the stars.
Some people scream, some people sing,
some fly high, some clip wings,
some want peace, some want war
we make music and to love we swore.
