I was invited to ‘Divine Appointment’, an annual banquet fundraising event for HORIZON PREGNANCY CLINIC, at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, California.
Horizon Pregnancy Clinic is a licensed medical clinic in Huntington Beach and with a new location in Long Beach. All services are provided by licensed compassionate professionals. They provide free, confidential pregnancy services for those facing an unplanned pregnancy. The wide range of services include: Pregnancy Testing, Ultrasound (Onsite), Pregnancy Options Education, Adoption Information, Maternity & Infant Supplies, Parenting Education, Post-Delivery Support, Post-Abortion Support, and Support for Men. Between Sep 2022 and Aug. 23, Horizon helped bring 566 babies to term with successful deliveries. Some parents brought their children and told their heartfelt stories. It was a beautiful, moving evening.
It was wonderful to spend another worthwhile and fun time with my dear friends Kelly, Edouard and Stuart. Stuart is our resident Brit with an Israeli paratrooper red Barrett (that’s another story). He is an accomplished artist and commemorated the event with the drawing below of Debora Tous, Chief Executive officer, who is the heart and engine of the operation.
