Wild wishes flew like mustard seeds
over plateaus and ocean reeds
as wind swept leaves
with gust and thrust
a stolen kiss
some lovely lust
a Drama Queen
in hot couture
and Flannel Gray
who was her cure —
her streetwise candor
his wizard potion
a sweet spiced brew
of raw emotions —
translucent milk
in honey mist
more potent than
a mushroom bisque.
